28/07/1908 Last Uruguayan Mail launched a new product
added to the various postal services already offered by the Uruguayan society. It is an international wire transfer system that can send and receive to and from Spain and Chile in a simple, fast and at lower cost than those offered in the market so far.
This experience, which will be the first of its kind in Latin America is the result of an agreement reached between the national post in each country, based on a draft of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Postal Union of the Americas, Spain and Portugal (UPAEP).
