The University of the Republic, through its Sectoral Scientific Research Commission is earmarking funds for the Scholarship Program and Recruitment of Researchers Return from abroad.
The difficulty to assume the costs associated with the return of these researchers by university departments, CSIC justify the resources allocated to a program to support their willingness to settle in our country.
This program has two modes. One is the deRetorno Scholarship, which will aspire college teachers maintained their position at the University of the Republic during his stay abroad for graduate studies or postdoctoral activities. The second form is the recruitment of researchers living abroad who do not have a position at the University of the Republic.
