The National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) released the National System of Researchers (SNI), which will create a scientific record Uruguayan and will enable research funding through grants and other programs. Uruguay has a staff of researchers based in the country close to a thousand and as many overseas. With the creation SNI will be established a register of national scientists and provide research funding through grants and different programs. It's a way to honor these professionals, aspiring to at least some of those who came back to the country.
