In the second quarter of 2009 a group of teachers from the Office of Academic Development and the Department Basic Sciences developed the design of a diagnostic test to apply to students entering the institution, starting next year. Below is the summary of the document which compiles the results of this test and supporting the project: "DESIGN AND VALIDATION OF A DIAGNOSTIC TEST ON MATH SKILLS" and whose goal will be to implement a test, which is diagnostic of the conditions under which the student arrives on basic math skills. For the institution it is important this type of diagnosis because it will provide arguments to identify the level of development of these skills and then propose the appropriate remedial action.
